If a track is out of polarity, it would be much better to go ahead and commit and audiosuite it with the Invert plug-in. It's easier to audition between multiple sources with a simple switch. If you disagree, you're only kidding yourself or trying to be "difficult" on the internet.
Yes it would be easier to audition with a polarity switch. It just hasn't been that much of an issue for me. I might have to check polarity once in awhile, so it isn't really a big issue for me personally. It would be nice if they added the option, but I'm also fine if they don't. Not having a polarity switch is a pain in the ass. I don't know why PT doesn't have one. If you are using multiple mics in a session it's essential.

I would open the files in a separate session and destructively phase flip one channel. Hopefully the main session reads the flipped files and rebuilds your edited session without a glitch.
