After installing IE7 I too had the same smart bridge error message that the entry point was not found I am interested in your message to Bird-Dog about uninstalling IE7. I too have the same problem with it and running my diagnostic tools, so would like to uninstall IE7. If I just go to Add and Remove and uninstall it, can I be sure the programme will revert to IE6 without any loss of files etc. I'm a bit of a newbie at some of these things and in the middle of a stressful day, I installed IE7 by mistake.
When it popped up on my screen, I thought I was just downloading a patch or something. It was only after my windows changed that I realised what had happened. I really wish Microsoft would stop assuming that everyone who has a computer, knows exactly what they are doing I have read the other postings on how to get rid of the error message, but I understand from what I've read elsewhere, that IE7 can have lots of problems, so I would rather not have it at the moment. I know how to un-install it, just not sure how it will affect my files and folders etc.
