I presume it's number 9 in the search results? Is it possible to extract the drivers and include them on a custom install cd? Thanks again! I have never done it this way myself but it should get you out of trouble. I think I can integrate them with nlite. I've done things like that before.
I just need to get them out of the. Maybe I could make a floppy on my desktop with the Intel tool and then copy them off the floppy? Is there an easier way to extract them from the.
Do you think those are the only drivers I need for the XP cd to recognise the hard drive? I cheated for you I just made the floppy on my desktop, copied all files from that floppy and put them in to one folder and zipped it. I really appreciate your help! I had already done the same thing myself though. I made the floppy with the Intel tool and copied them back to the hard drive as I suggested above.
I didn't know the tool actually contained the drivers initially - I thought it would ask me to point it at them and then create the floppy. XP installed with no problems using this cd.
XP and Vista both boot now. I just have to find some other drivers for XP I've written what each is or what I think each is in brackets Probably the Marvell? Maybe Ethernet is the Marvell and Network is the Intel? If not, perhaps you could point me in the right direction?
I'd be glad to post detailed instructions for others. Thanks again for all your help!!! Cheers for that! I did read some threads on other forums where some people had the same problems yeah. They didn't say if they managed to install all of the drivers or not though. I integrated Service Pack 2 on the install cd too so that's installed. I think I installed DirectX 9. I can't quite remember. Product Tags Add your tags. Please select your shipping location to start shopping Changing your shipping location may affect your shopping cart.
